We celebrated David's birthday early because Cody would be leaving before the actual day. We had fried chicken and mashed potatoes (surprise, surprise!) and I made a four layer chocolate cake filled with chocolate decorator's icing frosted with chocolate ganache icing. We could barely eat it! A little too rich for our tastes--I think I will keep it simple next time :) David loved his presents from the kids, all having something to do with motorcyles, of course.
