The Masters' Go to Washington...Sort Of

Okay, so we weren't actually there, but I did take some pictures of the kids watching the inauguration so they could say they were watching history being made.

To no one's surprise, Radley could not be bothered to put on pants for this historic event... And Crazy Hair Sweet Pea was not very cooperative with the whole picture taking project... Radley was sad for George W. because people didn't like him and he had to go bye-bye.
Sabrina kept laughing at Vice President Biden. Not sure what she found so funny...
And finally the moment arrived!
Radley had had quite enough of the very beautiful quartet that was playing one of mommy's favorite songs....

Apparently, Radley was VERY interested in what this fellow had to say so he got as close as possible...


They certainly don't understand the significance of what they watched today and it's good that they won't know a United States that hadn't had a minority President. We are hopeful that our nation can heal its wounds...
